| Bio: | Let's see... there's really not anything interesting about me. I'm a Jersey Girl by birth, but PA is my home. I live near the Poconos, in the armpit of Pennsylvania, but I really do like it here - even though I'm surrounded by coal and little else.
I'm an avid reader, and I love historical fiction and chick lit. And yes, Harry Potter! I'm a big fan of Snape's so be warned ;)
The History Channel, Discovery Health and TLC are my drugs of choice. I love educational TV! I also have a weakness for reality TV, but not those stupid dating shows. I love The Amazing Race most of all, and would love to be on it someday. Hey, I can dream, right? I also love Lost! A good rule of thumb is if the show is confusing, I probably watch it.
I've been reading comic books since I was 5, and I'm still chugging along! Archie started it all for me, and I love X-Men, The Avengers, Strangers in Paradise and Hepcats.
I was raised on folk music by my parents (who weren't hippies, but loved the music). As a preteen, I rebelled from Peter, Paul and Mary and discovered rock n' roll! And while I love my metal music and hair bands, my favorites are still the classic pioneers: Elvis, The Beatles, and Led Zepplin to name a few. However, my favorite musician of all time is reminiscent of my folk music upbringing: Jim Croce. My Dad raised me to love the best!! I can only hope that my Dad has finally gotten to meet Jim in that big concert hall in the sky :)
